Tomorrow and Wednesday will be the coolest days but the heat index is expected to be 99 degrees both days. There is a 60 to 80 percent chance of strong to potentially severe thunderstorms this afternoon but the chance of rain drops to 30 percent or less tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday.
