Governor Bill Lee has named Fayetteville Public Utility CEO and general manager Britt Dye to the Tennessee Board of Utility Regulation. Dye previously served on the board from October 2024 through June 2026 after being appointed to fill a vacancy. His reappointment allows him to continue representing municipal water utilities on the statewide board.
In a congratulatory letter to Dye, Governor Lee said, "In the thorough, aggressive search for candidates, your individual characteristics and professional qualifications were exceptional. I consider it very important to ensure that Tennessee's boards and commissions are filled with the most dedicated and qualified citizens. I believe that your participation is certain to leave a positive impact on this board and the work it does."
