Multiple county volunteer departments responded to a house fire Friday morning.
Lincoln County Volunteers have been battling a house fire on Ardmore Highway this morning. Firefighters were called to a home at 822 Ardmore Highway about 9 o’clock. They arrived to find smoke and flames boiling from the house. Multiple departments responded to the call and quickly brought the blaze under control. Everyone escaped the burning home unhurt but fire caused extensive damage. The cause of the fire remains under investigation currently.
