
A Lewisburg man arrested on multiple charges.
A 68-year-old Lewisburg man is facing multiple charges after traveling to a Petersburg residence and allegedly pointing a gun at occupants, claiming they stole from him. Gary Michael Owen was arrested on charges of two counts of aggravated assault, one count of possession of firearm with intent to go armed during a dangerous felony, one count possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and one count of manufacturing, delivery, sell and possession of schedule II narcotics. Lincoln County Sheriff Tull Malone said. “Deputies responded to the call of a man with a gun. While on the scene Deputy Jace LaFevers discovered a significant amount of fentanyl. According to Sheriff Malone, Owen gave the victims a ride home and later noticed he was missing money and a camera. Malone said Owen went back to the victims’ residence where he confronted the victims and accused them of stealing his money and camera. The victims said Owen pointed a gun at them, according to Malone, who added Owen denies the allegation. Owen was released on a $52,500 bond.
