Three Metro Moore County Emergency Medical personnel were recognized Wednesday for their quick actions that saved a recent patient who was suffering a heart problem. Shannon Morphis, Director of EMA & ED Outreach at St. Thomas presented paramedics Rheannon Gagnon and Zach Means, along with Advanced EMT Jackie Burton, with their Ascension Saint Thomas EMS Hero Award. In making the presentation Morphis noted that without the team’s timely interventions and thorough assessment, the patient’s outcome could have been very different.
