You may not realize it but tourism is a strong economic driver for Lincoln County. Using data from multiple sources The Tennessee Department of Tourist Development said tourism generated nearly 30-million-dollars in revenue for Lincoln County last year. On an average day in 2024, visitors to Lincoln County contributed $81,961 in Daily spending, $18,161 in daily labor income and more than 78-hundred dollars in daily state and local tax collections. 34 percent of that spending was for lodging, 27 percent for food and beverages, 17 percent in retail, 13 percent for transportation and 9 percent for amusement and recreation. Lincoln County ranked 48th out of 95 Tennessee counties for visitor spending in 2024, compared to 45th in 2023.
