Some good news today from the Lincoln County Board of Public Utilities. As of this morning the moratorium on new water tapes has been partially lifted. I talked with Board Chairman Mark Bolden ( BITE FULL 092326 MARK BOLDEN :46 Q:HAPPENING) Earlier this month the Board had placed a moratorium on all new water taps while it evaluated the systems capacity and flow data. This announcement of the lifting of that moratorium for individual and minor plat taps is great news for Lincoln County residents who are building new homes.
