Lincoln County Volunteer firefighters were called to a barn on fire on Dukes Lane in the Kelso community about 3:20 this morning.
Lincoln County Volunteer firefighters were called to a barn on fire on Dukes Lane in the Kelso community about 3:20 this morning. The first units arriving on the scene found the barn totally engulfed in flames. Braving 26 degree temperatures, firefighters contained the blaze and prevented it from spreading. No injuries were reported, however the homeowner did lose some animals to the fire. The cause has not been determine according to Lincoln County Fire Chief and EMA Director Doug Campbell.
