A two vehicle accident Saturday afternoon on Highway 110 near Taft claimed the life of a 51-year-old man. Tennessee State Troopers say the accident happened about 1:15 Saturday afternoon when the two vehicles collided head on. One of the vehicles, driven by 78-year-old Billy James slammed into a vehicle driven by 51-year-old Ruben Ventura. Troopers say Ventura was not wearing a seat belt and was killed in the accident. James was transported to the hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
