The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation was called to assist Franklin County Sheriff’s Investigators looking into a fatal house fire that happened early Monday morning.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation was called to assist Franklin County Sheriff’s Investigators looking into a fatal house fire that happened early Monday morning. Deputies along with volunteer firefighters from Alto-Oak Grove, Capitol Hill, Hillsboro, Decherd and members of the AEDC Fire Department all responded to a home at 3010 Gum Creek Road just fore 2 am. Sheriff’s deputies said 80-year old Patricia Ann Perry died as a result of the fire and four other people were injured and required hospitalization. The cause and circumstances surrounding the fire remain under investigation.
